This year’s 2010 fall pledge class for Delta Pi took part in a self-organized philanthropy event. The event involved a raffle draw in which they sold tickets to students and whoever else was interested to have the chance to win various prizes. We raised over $300, and all the proceeds of this charity event were given to the Boys and Girls Club.
The prizes included the following: Eleven $10 off coupons at Lago Restaurant, eleven Tila Tequila Bar VIP tickets, eight tickets to Absolute Comedy, two baskets of Bed Head Hair Products from Hair Junkies valued at $200 each, and the grand prize as a six month membership at Team Bushido MMA Gym valued at over $700.
A great thanks goes out to those who donated these specific prizes to be given away to the winners of this raffle draw. With these generous donations we were able to accumulate a larger amount of money to give to the Boys and Girls Club. Special thanks go out to the following: Jeff from Absolute Comedy, Hair Junkies Hair Salon, and Nabil Khatib from Team Bushido MMA Gym.
